School Nutrition

At TMSA Triangle, we believe that a healthy, nutritious meal is essential to supporting student learning and well-being. Click TMSA Wellness Policy for more information.

TMSA Triangle participates in the National School Lunch Program (NSLP) for the 2026-2027 school year. This program allows families to apply for free or reduced-price meals for their children. 

Our school partners partner with Elior School Dining to deliver fresh, well-balanced meal options each day.

MenuMenus can be found HERE when they are ready. 

Halal and non-halal menus will be shared monthly and hung in the school cafeterias for easy reference. To determine which meats are halal on the online menu, turn on the halal filter, found on the top righthand corner of the page.

To support these meal options, our cafeteria staff follow established procedures for food
preparation and service. This includes using approved food products, clearly labeling menu items, and following food safety practices designed to reduce the risk of cross-contamination.

  • Lunch: $5.00

Students who qualify for free or reduced-price meals will receive one free lunch each school day. Click TMSA School Nutrition Meal Charge Policy for meal payment requirements.

Payment

  • Meals can be paid for online through MySchoolBucks.com or with cash.  
  • Students may charge up to two (2) meals to their meal account. Once the charge limit is reached, students will need to bring a meal from home or have funds added to their account.  

How to Set Up a MySchoolBucks AccountNote: It may take a little time for payments to show in your account, depending on your bank. Please be sure to add funds in advance.

  • Step 1: Create a Parent Account
  1. Visit www.MySchoolBucks.com and click Sign Up Free.
  2. Select North Carolina and choose TMSA Triangle
  3. Enter your name, email address, and phone number.
  4. Create a password and set security questions.
  5. Check your email to verify your account.
  • Step 2: Add Your Student(s)
  1. Log in and click Add Student.
  2. Select your child’s school (Triangle Cary, Triangle HS Apex, Triangle Durham)
  3. Enter your child’s full name (as it appears in school records) and Student ID number.
  4. Click Add Student. Repeat for additional children.
  • Step 3: Add Funds
  1. Click Add Funds or Make a Payment.
  2. Enter your payment information (credit/debit card or e-check).

Note: MySchoolBucks charges a convenience fee for each transaction (usually $2.49–$3.50).

  • Optional Features
  1. Low Balance Alerts: Get an email when your child’s balance is low.
  2. AutoPay: Set up automatic payments to keep your account funded. Any remaining balance at the end of the school year will roll over to the next year or may be refunded upon request.

Dietary Accommodations

  • If your child has food related allergies, please complete this form. 
  • If your child requires a meal accommodation related to a food allergy (such as a substitute item like soy milk), please request a Medical Statement form. You may do so by: emailing the District Lunch Coordinator, Emma Modlin, at emma.modlin@tmsaschools.org, or visiting the front office at any TMSA campus.

Free and Reduced-Priced Meal Application

  • We encourage all families to complete a Free and Reduced-Price Meal Application. You can apply online here: http://tmsatriangle.nlappscloud.com. Our FAQ page and this presentation answer many of the common questions you may have during the application process.
  • Paper applications are also available at the front office of TMSA Triangle High School Building.
  • Please allow up to 10 days for application processing.
  • Applications can be submitted or resubmitted at any time during the school year if your household size or income changes.

The letter must contain the complainant’s name, address, telephone number, and a written description of the alleged discriminatory action in sufficient detail to inform the Assistant Secretary for Civil Rights (ASCR) about the nature and date of an alleged civil rights violation. The completed AD-3027 form or letter must be submitted to USDA by:
